Job Description
As a Senior Estimator, you will evaluate requests for proposals, specifications, and drawings for medium- to large-scale projects and tenders. In addition, you will regularly work on specialized and complex projects, such as hospitals, schools, and theaters, where project-specific requirements regarding acoustics, fire resistance, and aesthetics play a key role.

You are responsible for determining a reliable and realistic cost estimate and advise both colleagues and clients on potential optimizations. In addition, you’ll support the sales department and actively contribute to winning projects.

Your responsibilities will include, among other things:

• Independently calculate and prepare sales budgets based on specifications and drawings;
• Determining quantities for estimates using Bluebeam;
• Requesting and evaluating quotes from suppliers and subcontractors in a timely manner;
• Independently preparing and submitting complete, market-competitive quotes;
• Following up on submitted quotes;
• Identifying opportunities, risks, and areas for optimization within projects;
• Supporting the sales department during sales calls and client presentations;
• Advising clients during the preliminary phase;
• Ensuring a complete handover to the project team after the assignment is awarded.

Here’s what we expect from you
For this position, we require an MBO+ or HBO level of work and thinking, with a background in construction.

In addition, you have several years of experience as a quantity surveyor in the construction, finishing, or commercial building sector.

Do you also have experience with Solibri, Revit, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, MS Office, and preferably BIM? That would be a plus.

You work with precision, think ahead, and maintain a clear overview. You also have strong communication skills and enjoy collaborating with clients and the sales department to successfully secure projects.
