Job Description

As an experienced interior construction technician, you’ll be responsible for the professional assembly and installation of interior components on-site. You’ll work on a variety of projects throughout the Netherlands, including retail interiors, kitchens, office furnishings, and custom-made furniture for private clients.

You’ll travel from the workshop to various locations and ensure that the manufactured interior components are precisely assembled and neatly finished on site. In doing so, you’ll serve as the face of our company and will have regular contact with customers, clients, and other stakeholders.

Thanks to your experience, technical insight, and ability to work independently, you’ll be able to find practical solutions on site even when the situation differs from what was initially expected.

 

Work

  • Assembly and installation of custom interiors on-site.
  • Installation of retail interiors, kitchens, office furnishings, and furniture.
  • Carefully check dimensions and connections during assembly.
  • Finishing and neatly delivering the installed interior.
  • Performing assembly work based on technical drawings and working drawings.
  • Working with various hand tools and assembly materials.
  • Independently resolving technical or practical problems on site.
  • Identify deviations and report them to the work planning or project management teams.
  • Handle materials, tools, and the customer's premises with care.
  • Ensuring a neat and professional handover.
  • Consult with customers, colleagues, and other stakeholders on-site.
  • Provide assistance with workshop tasks as needed.

 

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for an experienced and independent technician who knows their craft and takes pride in the final result. You enjoy working at various locations and are comfortable traveling throughout the Netherlands.

You have a hands-on approach, think in terms of solutions, and can work independently. At the same time, you’re a pleasant colleague and understand how important a professional and customer-focused attitude is when working on-site at a customer’s or client’s location.

Ideally, you’ll have:

  • Proven experience as a technician in interior construction, furniture manufacturing, or a similar field.
  • Strong technical and spatial understanding.
  • Experience installing custom interiors and furniture.
  • You are able to read technical drawings and working drawings effectively.
  • You are meticulous and have an eye for detail and craftsmanship.
  • You can work independently and find practical solutions to problems on-site.
  • You are flexible and don't mind working at different locations.
  • You are customer-oriented and presentable.
  • You have a Class B driver's license.
  • You are willing to travel throughout the Netherlands to perform on-site installations.
  • A degree in interior construction, furniture making, or a comparable field at the MBO level is preferred.
