Realization of 2 Mobile CleanAir Units (MCAU) at the TU in Twente. The TU in Twente was our interlocutor in 2015 to jointly find a solution to create an ISO 14644 class 5 environment in the existing lab of this research group. Near the machines, which are set up in the lab, directly adjacent to the entrance doors, two smaller clean rooms had to be built with a very transparent character and in a mobile design. The choice was made to build two SRBA CE Mobile CleanAir Units.
The units are constructed of a heavy aluminum frame with a plenum provision incorporating the air treatment with Filter Fan Units and LED lighting units. The walls are made of laminated safety glass and, where necessary, flexible access is provided with PVC laminates in an anti-static design. The MCAU is equipped with connections for compressed air and nitrogen in the columns, as well as contact points for data traffic. Access to the unit consists of a power-operated sliding door. The complete units were completely prefabricated at our facility prior to installation. After complete quality assessment and approval finding, the units were disassembled. Then the assembly of the units at the Twente location was a matter of a few days!
The delivery took place in January, without any comments from our client. Our PP4CE partner WERO and CMI successively took care of the cleaning and successful validation of the units. The furnishing with stainless steel work tables and chairs was also provided by SRBA CE.
